Gift Registries are used to share a list of gifts for friends/family to review and determine which gift they would like to obtain for some event (e.g. wedding, retirement, graduation). The idea is to be able to create a simple list, maybe a short description, and a link to example products. Providing simple lists enables the owner of the list a quick, easy, and reliable solution to share with their friends. Here, on this Gift Registry App, there is nothing to download ... it just works on the web via your browser.
This app will provide a very simple Gift Registry whereby an administrator can add (change and delete) gifts with approproiate notes and URLs and then share them with users to which they provide a passcode. If you'd like to see how it works, you can login (above) using demoadmin, enter a few gifts, then logout and log back in using demo to see how it would appear.
Features
- Administrators (unlimited) can:
- Access the registry via a unique passcode
- Add a gift (no limit)
- View list of gifts
- Edit or delete a gift
- View list of gifts marked as purchased
- Undo a gift marked as purchased
- Users (unlimited) can:
- Access the registry via a unique passcode
- View list of gifts available to purchase
- Indicate they have (or will) purchase a gift
- Gift attributes:
- Title, Notes, URL, Cost
- Purchased (Y/N)
